Kelro Pump & Mechanical Ltd. was established in Lloydminster, Alberta in May of 2000 by Gordon L. Rohs. The company was established to offer value added surface pump products and services to the Western Canadian oilfield industry. The industry quickly recognized the value of doing business with Kelro and in August of 2000 Kelro expanded by opening a second branch in Provost, Alberta. Kelro continued to grow and eventually the capabilities of their business expanded to include an engine reconditioning facility and a machine shop. Kelro continues to grow by focusing on providing added value service and equipment packages in the Oilfield and Industrial Industries in Western Canada. Kelro primarily provides the service and sales of pumps, air & gas compressor systems and process equipment systems. Kelro is continually expanding their OEM distribution agreements, product lines, OEM service & warranty capabilities, process equipment packaging abilities, application design and consultative capabilities to ensure we are always the “Rotating Equipment Experts” in the industry.
Gord has 30 years of experience servicing, maintaining and fabricating of mechanical equipment and still remains very hands on in the day to day operations of Kelro Pump & Mechanical. Gord has been directly employed in the oil and gas industry for the past 21 years for either the producer or an oilfield service provider. This experience is the key influence that drives his dedication to provide exceptional service and products to the oilfield industry and is the baseline that identifies our corporate culture. Gord has surrounded himself with key staff that have the same commitment to value added sales and service.
Brent joined the technical sales department in August of 2008. Brent is responsible to field new equipment application inquiries and gathers the necessary information to ensure that we are providing the best possible product for every application. Brent is a Journeyman technician who was employed by Kelro operating field service trucks, repairing and rebuilding pumps and equipment in our shop and fabricating pump packages for the past 7 years. As equipment orders are received Brent is responsible to co-ordinate each order and track it through to delivery. Brent ensures that all orders are completed to specifications and delivered on time. Brent’s technical background and tremendous attention to detail ensures that only the best quality product is delivered by Kelro.
Diane is a Business Administration Graduate with a major in Accounting. She brings with her 12 years management experience in the oil & gas and construction industries. Diane is responsible for overseeing and maintaining our administrative team and the financial functions and reporting for Kelro.
Dale has been in the mechanical field since 1984 where he began in the automotive industry specializing in drive components. He moved in to the engine / hydraulic drives area in 1995 and continued to branch out into the surface pump industry until joining Kelro in 2000 as the Provost Branch Manager. As the Provost Branch manager he oversees all aspects of the Provost operations, dedicating himself to providing the best service possible to his customers by continually training his staff and maintaining necessary parts inventories while always managing to stay very hands on.
Sheldon has 15 years in the mechanical field and has been a journeyman mechanic for 9 years. He is very knowledgeable and well known in the surface pump field for his excellent ability to troubleshoot pump applications. He has now been with Kelro Pump for 7 years.
Brad joined our sales team in May 2010. Brad has been employed in Heavy Oil for over 12 year in service, sales and safety. Brad is very focused on our customer's needs and customer satisfaction. Brad communicates regularly with our customers and works closely with our inside service department and our applications team to continually support our customers with their needs.
Mark Krevenky joined Kelro in May of 2010. He has been in the mechanical field for 18 years. Starting off in Automotive where he specialized in engines and troubleshooting electrical problems and performed system installations. For the past 10 years Mark has been working in the Oil and Gas Industry. Marks experience includes performing maintenance, repairs and troubleshooting on a wide range of Oilfield related rotating equipment, including most types of pumps and natural gas compressors. Mark specializes in Cat and Waukesha maintenance and troubleshooting of reciprocating and screw compressors. Diagnosis of fluid and ignition systems, vibration and heat issues. Marks well rounded experience and service technician background allows him to strongly support our customer's needs in his role as an outside sales representative. He works very closely with our service department and applications team to ensure that we exceed our customers existing and future needs at all times.
Rob joined Kelro as a Journeyman Machinist in 2005. As Service Manager Rob coordinates the day to day field operations as well as work coming into the shop. Rob is very familiar with the parts and components that go into the pumps we sell and service and is hands on with the machining, fabricating and mechanical operations both in the field and in house.
